Job Summary
CNC Vertical Mill operators use computer-controlled machines to fabricate parts from metal or plastic. Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards for custom parts for ACMF customers.
Summary of essential Job functions
Program Vertical Mill by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches
Calculate requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs
Sets-up Vertical Mill by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads
Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position
Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; Performs test operations to ensure the product is made to specifications
Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Run the machine and monitoring it for problems
Make adjustments to the operating speed based on vibrations and sounds that may indicate a malfunction
Inspect any material from waterjet, laser, saw, and/or weldments
Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
Perform all dimensional inspections
Operate multiple machines
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
Perform prescribed maintenance as required; Clean and maintain equipment
Operate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely

High School Diploma or equivalent education experience
Certificate or associate's degree programs in machine or manufacturing technology
Relevant coursework covering blueprint reading, computer-aided design, machining principles, and metals
Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience in a machining environment
Ability to read blueprints
Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance
Familiarity with the following machines, preferred: Mighty Viper (3axis CNC vertical milling machine), Haas VF9 (3 axis CNC vertical milling machine), Haas VF6 (up to 4 axis CNC vertical milling machine), Haas VF4 (3 axis CNC vertical milling machine),DMG – Mori Seiki (3 axis CNC vertical milling machine)
Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills
Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass
Fork lift operation experience
Ability to work with minimal supervision, self motivated, able to work as a part of a Team with a positive attitude
Safety conscience

Job Summary
This position operates various pieces of equipment to fabricate materials per customer specifications in conjunction with quality requirements, safety standards and manufacturing philosophies within a team environment. Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.

• Works from and interprets fairly complicated sketches, drawings, blueprints, routings, product specifications
• Produce high quality product of superb craftsmanship
• Create custom fabrications made from Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Mild Steel for commercial and industrial clientele

Job Summary
Provide accurate pricing, routings and materials from customer supplied blueprints. Work with various departments involved with the manufacturing process of the quoted product. This is a fast paced job and requires a balance of strong technical skills as well as great communication and ability to multitask.

Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
Identifies labor, material, and outsourcing requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
Figure set-ups and run times based off of customer specs
Quickly generate accurate estimates of time and costs to build component parts and assemblies
Quotes that are won will be prepared for the manufacturing departments
Verify job routings, materials and applicable Requisition Forms at time of Purchase Order

Job Summary
The industrial janitor position is responsible for providing a clean, presentable and safe environment through a variety of custodial duties. This position will work under limited supervision and requires daily action to maintain optimal building condition.
Summary of essential Job functions
• Perform basic housekeeping/cleaning tasks; dusting, sweeping, mopping
• Operate basic cleaning equipment (vacuum, mop, carpet and/or hard floor cleaner)
• Dust/wash furniture, walls, machines, equipment routinely
• Daily trash removal in all assigned areas of the shop
• Daily exterior landscape inspections, remove and dispose of debris
• Assist with snow removal and maintaining safe walkways during winter months

Sweep shop floor
Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces

Clean windows and doors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
Shovel snow from sidewalks and sprinkle salt on surface
Move/rearrange heavy furniture

Job Summary
Setup and operate CNC Waterjet machine with proper programs, proper material, and ensure parts are cut to the proper quality standards.
Summary of essential Job functions
Setup machine properly
Read and understand all paperwork that pertains to the job that is being cut, using the proper components, fixtures and process standards for any given work order.
Inspect all parts making sure they are cut to the proper quality standards using the proper tools
Use Waterjet Work Instruction form 098-100 to help maintain quality parts
Keep a clean and safe work area

Train Waterjet operators
